Are You Using Serums?

When I first heard of serums, I thought that it was a skincare product only for mature skin, so I would glaze right over them when looking at skincare lines. When I started my studies in esthetics, I learned that serums are in fact for all skin types and are quite the treat for the skin.

Serums are concentrated liquid ingredients that target specific skin conditions such as dehydration, hyperpigmentation, signs of aging and much more. They are chemically formulated with smaller molecules that can penetrate further into the skin, making them more effective. They are typically made with ingredients such as vitamins, lipids, antioxidants, and acids.

I now incorporate serums in my daily skincare routine. I use them after applying my toner or on a good day after I apply an essence. I typically apply 2-3 drops to my face and use my fingertips to gently massage and press the liquid into my skin.

I have complied a list of serums that I believe are worth the money and deliver desired results.
